Anna Antarti
Visual Artist
Anna Antarti was born in Athens in 1984. She started drawing from a very young age and in 2002 she entered both the Aristotle University of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki (in first place) and the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied painting under professor Anastasios Christakis. She also attended printmaking by V. Kazakos and V. Tsalamata and sculpting by G. Houliaras. In 2005 she expanded her printmaking studies at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in the workshop of G. Damish. In 2007 she graduated with honours from Athens School of Fine Arts. Since 2010 she has been a member of the Greek Chamber for Visual Arts.
After her graduation she worked at the National Art Gallery and Alexander Soutzos Museum in the art conservation department of M. Doulgeridis.
Her artwork has been exhibited in group shows and can be found in private collections in Greece, England and the U.S.A.
